Assignment 4: Understanding web marketing and devising a web marketing strategy. [20%]
Procedure: Your report, published as a page in your blog, will consist of two parts:
- you will read and summarise as many documents as you can find that relate to web marketing specifically with regard to Web 2.0 (correctly cite every reference); you may illustrate your report with videos or slideshows. This section of the report should not exceed 1000 words.
- on the basis of (and with reference to) the first part of your report, you will devise and document an appropriate web marketing strategy for a site you own (e.g. your Ning site). This section of the report should not exceed 500 words.
Rationale: The design process embraces the entire development cycle, from the initial conception of the project through to the ongoing management of your relationship with your customer base. Design of a web marketing strategy is therefore a crucial component of that process.
